I am grateful you take the calling seriously and want to do your best in making the time in nursery purposeful (as much as it can be with that age group). :) Thank you for caring and for your hard work!Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05241990212213515923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898391600279544244.post-29934835161924183522011-02-19T14:46:50.376-04:002011-02-19T14:46:50.376-04:00Cami, let's hope a typical runny nose is what ...Cami, let's hope a typical runny nose is what those parents meant. =) I sometimes wonder if it is handicapping that Lo a bit to have me in nursery with him. The other kids are getting used to going to class without their parents, but he isn't...so someday he'll have to learn that lesson when the other kids already have it down. But we left him in nursery for the valentine's dinner babysitting, and he did fine. For an hour and a half anyway until he got tired.TheTamFamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02218298599179687258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898391600279544244.post-22450141266473899942011-02-19T01:32:11.662-04:002011-02-19T01:32:11.662-04:00I think a lot of kids have a constant runny nose s...I think a lot of kids have a constant runny nose so if we stuck strictly to the rules there would never be kids in nursery. Maybe that's what that mom meant?

I'm glad you and Lo are enjoying nursery. I was called into nursery when Sydney was 16 months and it was great for her to be in there early. We had about 14 kids each week and it was difficult to stick to a routine but we did our best. Hopefully when you are released in the distant future, Lo will love nursery and be okay in there without you. (Sydney had a hard time adjusting to going without me but now she loves it.)Camihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16281780066685221260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898391600279544244.post-54358009067215392432011-02-19T00:52:57.643-04:002011-02-19T00:52:57.643-04:00I must admit- I secretly hoped you had some great ...I must admit- I secretly hoped you had some great inspiration on how to get more out of your classes and keep Lo happy. We are in the same boat with Lil Man right now. He is too active to be happy sitting in one place. Even just Sacrament Meeting is tough for him. I spend all of RS trying to entertain him/chase him.
But- this is a wonderful testament of the inspiration of the Spirit.
Also, I agree that it is very important to keep sick children either home (preferably) or out of class in order to keep the germs from spreading.
Loved the post!Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02996599418184563451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898391600279544244.post-50046589830106352542011-02-18T23:25:23.327-04:002011-02-18T23:25:23.327-04:00Cute; and wonderful testimony!Cute; and wonderful testimony!Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12152357025186690440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3898391600279544244.post-77915530068667447942011-02-18T20:52:58.075-04:002011-02-18T20:52:58.075-04:00UGH!! I knew that people don't keep their sick kids home, but I didn't know that they just don't care! Ruuuuuuuuuuuudeeeeee.

I'm glad you love your calling! I hope our nursery leaders are as great as you are, since Rachel will be going in soon. I'm apprehensive about it.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06071992105850067876noreply@blogger.com
