Though my sewing skills leave a lot to be desired, Little Tam has not found himself bereft of beautiful, home-crafted keepsakes up to this point. Thanks to generous friends, behold the following:
Friend Nicki made a quilted stocking ornament (and no, she did not embroider "Little" on it but rather had the correct English name of our sweet boy sewn on here--I just photoshopped a bit)
Friend Morgan created her own perfected version of a mei tai, which is the Chinese style of a baby carrier. Jerry wears Little in this gorgeous carrier all the time! We were going for a "reverse pregnancy pose" in this photo.
And since it is nigh unto impossible to get Little to smile at a camera, we just opted to have this family photo taken in our most common pose--everybody smiling at the baby, and him inspecting us with a curious expression. Thanks to friends Heidi and Nate for the impromptu photo shoot this past week!

We plan on getting a mei tai and a sling for our little one. Both just look so comfy!!!

What a handsome family --we're glad you had a merry Christmas! In the last photo, I like how Little is engrossed at looking at his daddy. In talking with Elder Steele, when he expressed appreciation for the Christmas package sent from our household, the first thing he mentioned was the photos of his new little nephew.
